Festival for kids has a petting farm, bubble disco and Peppa Pig

A "festival" for small children has been set up in the middle of the city, with tickets for one adult and one child priced at £12.

The event runs until Friday, July 12, and is perfect for parents of young children who are keen to do something with them before the busy school holidays. Otterspool Adventure's "Toddler Festival" includes a petting farm, a bubble disco, go karts, and a variety of characters kids can meet.

The Toddler Festival runs each day this week, from 10am-6pm, and Peppa Pig, and other favourite characters will be in attendance.

Otterspool Adventure's website says there is a "jam-packed schedule to keep your little festivalgoers partying" and adds that "siblings and older children are more than welcome to join us, however this event is tailored more towards the younger children".

Tickets for one adult and one child, together, cost £12, while additional children cost £8 each, and it's £4 each for additional adults. Under ones go free, and tickets for children aged 12-23 months are priced at £4.

Kids will be able to pet rabbits, chickens, and goats, and there'll also be arts and crafts activities, mini golf, and diggers to play with. Otterspool Adventure members go free.
