A brand new music festival coming to Hull has announced its final lineup.

Live From the Yard will take place across four days at Zebedee's Yard in Hull City Centre. Big names have already been announced for the event - Ocean Colour Scene, Cast and a Calum Scott homecoming just to name a few.

Zebedee's Yard transformed into a "fantastic" venue space back in 2017 and has hosted several different events and acts - from Hull Street Food Nights to more recently Pride just last year.

The final line-up announcements have now been made. Ministry of Sound Classical will host the festival on Saturday, August 10. The event will bring legendary DJs Judge Jules, Smokin Joe and Utah Saints to Hull City Centre. The event will mix classical dance anthems with a 30-piece orchestra. Ministry of Sound Classical will feature re-orchestrated and re-imagined dance hits from the 90s, including The Chemical Brothers’ “Hey Boy Hey Girl,” Dario G’s “Sunchyme,” Faithless’ “Insomnia,” and Fatboy Slim’s “Right Here, Right Now.”

Judge Jules has been a huge figure in dance music since the late '80s. He said: “I’m really looking forward to coming back to Hull, where surprisingly I haven’t been for five years, for this very special event at The Yard in Hull.". “My association with the Ministry goes back ages having played the club hundreds of times and remixed loads of their compilations so it should be a really rammed and rocking one.”
