Firefighters Battle Bushfires Across New South Wales as Heatwave Grips the State

Australian firefighters battled a number of bushfires burnings across New South Wales, on March 7, as scorching temperatures hit the state.

This footage, released by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS), shows an aerial view of a fire burning in Growee, 40 km (24.8 miles) to the east of Mudgee.

The Bureau of Meteorology issued a fire weather warning for extreme fire danger for the Central Ranges on Tuesday.

According to the RFS the fire reached four hectares (9.8 acres) in size as of Tuesday afternoon, and was being controlled. Credit: NSW RFS via Storyful
