Firefighters in North Texas Wake to Snow
Firefighters sent to battle the 1,075,000-acre Smokehouse Creek fire, one of the largest wildfires in Texas history, woke to snowfall on Thursday morning, February 29.
The National Weather Service said snow accumulations could reach 2 inches in parts of the southwest Texas Panhandle by Thursday afternoon.
