The first significant snow of the season fell on Ottawa, Canada, on Wednesday, November 16, as authorities issued a winter weather travel advisory in the region.

Footage posted by the Ottawa Paramedic Service shows snow accumulating outside its headquarter on Wednesday morning.

Travelers were warned that the snow would create slippery road conditions and reduced visibility.
