Five cats have been seized as part of an ongoing investigation in a town.

Suffolk police carried out an operation in Stowmarket on Thursday alongside the RSPCA.

It followed reports made in concerns to the welfare of cats being kept at a home in the town.

Five cats were seized by the RSPCA, Suffolk police said.

A spokesman for the RSPCA said it formed part of an ongoing investigation.
