A busy road on the outskirts of Cambridge will be closed to motorists from this week. Cardinal's Green, in Horseheath, will shut from Monday (June 24) for vital works.

The works are being carried out by the county council, who will be doing maintenance and repair on the stretch of road. Other areas affected include Mill Green and Shudy Camps.

The closure will last until Thursday (June 27) and be in effect from 8am to 4pm on each day during this period. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
