Flight to LAX diverted to Chicago O'Hare following bomb threat

United Flight 1533, en route to Los Angeles International Airport from Newark Liberty International Airport, was diverted to Chicago's O'Hare Airport early Wednesday morning after a bomb threat was discovered written on a note in the airplane's bathroom. Authorities evacuated 202 passengers and isolated the aircraft for a thorough search, during which a bomb-sniffing dog identified a suspicious bag. The FBI is investigating the incident.
