Floodwaters Wash Over Streets as Tropical Storm Nicole Nears Florida

The storm surge from Tropical Storm Nicole breached parts of the east-central Florida coast on Wednesday, November 9, prompting high-water rescues, according to the Martin County Sheriff.

County officials announced voluntary evacuations, specifically for people living in low-lying areas, as Nicole approached.
