Floral Lambs Decorate Rockefeller Center for Easter Weekend

Artful lambs bearing floral fleeces decorated New York City’s Rockefeller Center ahead of Easter Weekend.

Video taken on Friday, March 29, shows the flowery installation created by New York-based floral designer Lewis Miller Design (LMD).

The floral and design agency said the sheep were dressed in “their finer Easter fleeces and grazing on custom-made bridges under babbling brooks.”

LMD’s “Spring redesign” of Rockefeller Center brought old apple orchard trees bordered in willow wattle, jonquils galore, plum tulips, wild grasses and moss-dusted terracotta pots bursting with Easter Lillies to Midtown Manhattan.

The installation would only last through the weekend, the designers said.

“Come Monday, they get camera shy and ditch the 5th Avenue hustle and bustle for greener, less noisy pastures.” Credit: @KellyrKopp via Storyful
