A man has been arrested after over 100 tonnes of waste was found dumped.

Lancashire Police arrested a 36-year-old man last week (Friday, May 10) on suspicion of fly tipping offences, driving whilst disqualified and possession of a Class A drug, after over 100 tonnes of waste was dumped in Ormskirk. Officers also seized a vehicle at the scene.

The waste that was dumped is believed to be hazardous to nature and pictures show the horror state the waste was left in. A man has since been released on bail as enquiries continue.
