Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl appears to hint Taylor Swift doesn't sing live in savage on-stage dig

Dave Grohl appeared to make a savage dig at Taylor Swift during Foo Fighters' gig at London Stadium on Saturday (June 22). The band were playing their second show at the stadium on the same night as Taylor Swift's second Eras Tour date at Wembley Stadium.

In a video posted to TikTok by @strettyend, the Foo Fighters frontman could be seen saying: "We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she's on her Eras Tour. I'm telling you man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift."

As fans of the band booed, he continued: "So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. I feel like we have more than a few eras and more than a few f*****g errors as well."

"Just a couple. That's because we actually play live."

The crowd then erupted with cheers, whilst Grohl smiled and added: "Just saying, like we're a live band! You guys like raw and live rock 'n' roll music, right? You came to the right f*****g place."

The next evening, as Taylor Swift was performing her third sold out show at Wembley, she appeared to respond. She said: "What you just did is an unforgettable moment in not just my life, but every very single one of our crew. The band that's going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight.

"They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We'll never forget it."

Taylor Swift has now finished her initial run of London shows, but will return to Wembley Stadium for five more sold out nights in August.
