Gordon Ramsay has divided food fans as he announced the newest addition to his Gordon Street Pizza menu. Taking on a classic British dish, the chef revealed Brits will now be able to try out his Full English Breakfast Pizza in restaurants across the country.

He made the announcement via social media, where he urged his followers “don’t judge it till you try it”. Accompanied by a short video, the chef demonstrated the creation of his newest pizza combo.

Gordon captioned the Instagram post: “Don’t judge it till you try it….UK you can now try my Full English Breakfast Pizza that I made on #Scrambled at @gordonramsaystreetpizza ! You be the judge.”

The chef loaded a tomato-based pizza with slices of sausage, bacon, pan-fried potatoes, cheese, baked beans, black pudding, and an egg in the centre. In the video, Gordon can be heard saying: “Create something new, something exciting - breakfast pizza.”

His Instagram Reel has been viewed over a massive one million times, racking up 25,900 likes and 760 comments, at the time of writing. However, his new invention appeared to divide food fans.

Ferdinandua_ simply said: “This time I stand for Italian people.” Alek.pieczynski wrote: “I bet if someone served that on kitchen nightmares he would flip and start cursing it.”

Indulgingreverie commented: “Beans on pizza?! Straight to jail.”

Cooking_and_movies replied: “Did you win your Michelin stars in the raffle??” _jaypeg_ said: “Gordon please no stop. Think about the children.”

But not everyone was turned off by Gordon’s invention. Jadesbites said: “Yes every morning please.” Realdealmada agreed: “MMMMM BRRAKFAST PIZZA.” Zacrobbo1961 wrote: “That looks delicious but will the Italians approve this?”

Findmyblackpudding said: “Yes @gordongram that’s complete with the black pudding! Amazing.” Matjboy5791 commented: “Well …that is a thing of beauty.”

Gordon’s Full English Breakfast Pizza will be available at locations around the country, joining the likes of his ‘Idiot Pizza’, Pepperoni, Corn and Chorizo, and classic Margherita options.

Earlier this week the chef said he was “lucky to be alive” after getting into an accident on his bike in the US. He urged his followers to take safety precautions and wear a helmet, as he marked Father’s Day with an important message.

He wrote: “Sound ON and plz Swipe through…..with #FathersDay tomorrow I have very important message for all the dads out there…WEAR A HELMET ! This week I had a really bad accident while riding my bike in Connecticut. I’m doing ok and did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries but I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato.

“I’m thankful for all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lawerence + Memorial Hospital in New London who looked after me and checked me out, but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life. Have a great Father’s Day and be safe G.”
