Felix Miles grabbed the winner as Cirencester Town won 3-2 at Hertford Town in the Southern League, Division One Central.

After two narrow escapes in the opening 10 minutes the visitors scored mid-way through the half when Reegan Messenger volleyed into the net.

Hertford continued to play their passing style and were rewarded when Brian Garzon rifled his shot into the top corner on the stroke of half-time.

The hosts came out of the traps very quickly for the second half and approaching the hour mark they took the lead when Wilson Palomeque-Bernal tucked a low cross into the net.

Cirencester equalised when Aidan Bennett diverted a cross from the right flank into the net from close range and Miles hit the winner 10 minutes from time.

They finish the season at home to Welwyn Garden City this weekend, but cannot make the play-offs as they sit sixth, four points behind fifth-placed Waltham Abbey.

It is the same story for Evesham United in Division One South, as they sit seventh, four points off fifth, despite turning around a 2-1 deficit to beat Willand Rovers 3-2.

Just before the half-hour mark Willand were given a penalty, converted by Douglas Camilo.

Five minutes before half-time Levi Steele equalised, but the lead was short-lived though as two minutes into the second half, Willand regained the lead through Thomas Chastey.

Just under 20 minutes later, substitute Ethan Moran equalised and Aaron Heap stepped up to score the winner 12 minutes from time after another assist from Owens.

Bishop's Cleeve end their Southern League season at Mousehole on Saturday, but cannot make the play-offs., while Evesham are away to Paulton Rovers.

Brimscombe & Thrupp and Lydney Town ended their Hellenic League Premier Division campaigns with a 2-2 draw at the Meadow.

It was also the final game for their two managers with Sam Prior of Brimscombe and Lydney’s Jamie Morse both stepping down, and Lydney went into a two-goal lead.

Tristan Murphy gave Town a 21st-minute lead and Lewis Thompson added a second 20 minutes into the second half, but Jack Hughes pulled one back after 76 minutes and Harlie Price levelled two minutes from time.

Cinderford Town ended their league campaign with a 2-0 home defeat by champions Worcester City, and now turn their attention to next Tuesday’s promotion play-off final at Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

In Division One, Moreton Rangers finish bottom and must now await their relegation fate after losing 3-2 at Kidlington Reserves on Tuesday night., Samuel Sherpa-Moore and Ibrahima Gueye their scorers.

On Saturday, two goals in a minute at the death condemned Shortwood United to a 3-2 derby defeat by Stonehouse Town, whose manager Craig Robinson is also stepping down.

All five goals came in the second half as Wood took the lead when Elliot Martin raced in to fire low into the corner, but the lead lasted seven minutes as Luke Soule turned smartly in the box to shoot home.

Wood regained the lead as Byrnes’ free kick was headed clear only for Dan Gayner to hammer the ball home.

With three minutes to go Jack Hill equalised and almost immediately Nick Humphreys scored the winner with a shot from the edge of the area.

Cheltenham Civil Service marked the end of Steve Holend’s nine years as manager with a 4-2 win over Hanham Athletic, to secure their County League status.

Service took the lead through Charlie Swift but Hanham moved 2-1 in front, but Lewis Driscoll’s hat-trick sealed the win.

Hardwicke are seven points adrift of Quedgeley Wanderers, Gala Wilton and Almondsbury at the bottom after a shock 2-1 win over champions Avonmouth, with goals from Harley Mustoe and Danes-Rutherford.

Almondsbury drew 2-2 at Frampton United, who scored through Myron Turner and Henry Driver-Dickerson, while Gala Wilton drew 0-0 with Bromley Heath United and have one game left, while Almondsbury and Quedgeley have four to play.

Broadwell Amateurs are two points ahead of Gala with two games left after going down 3-0 at Wick on Saturday and 3-1 to Bromley Heath United on Tuesday.

Sharpness lost 4-3 at Stoke Gifford United, having led 2-0 through goals from James Priday and Will Tainton and levelled at 3-3 through George Thomas.

Brockworth Albion won a tense penalty shoot-out to lift the GFA Senior Amateur Cup on Tuesday night, coming through 6-5 after a 2-2 draw.

Albion came back from 2-0 down in a game of three red cards, two for Hanham, with Jamie Martin being sent off for Brockworth.

Fergus Jackson pulled a goal back after 66 minutes, then Ash Bird grabbed the 81st-minute leveller, and the first 11 penalties were scored in the shootout before a Hanham miss gave Albion the trophy, Matt Cairns, Jackson, Tom Willetts, Bird, Jimmy Thomas and Jai Maisey netting for Albion.

Brockworth sit third in a thrilling Northern Senior League Division One title race, the top five separated by four points.

Defending champions Chalford sit top on 60 points from 27 games (three to play) after James Keylock (two), Andrew Maryon (two), Ryan Outram (two) and Ryan Harry saw them to a 7-0 win at Woolaston on Wednesday. They also beat FC Lakeside 2-0 last Thursday thanks to Harry and Ben Minnican.

Tredworth Tigers are second, a point behind on 59, also from 27 games, having won 6-3 at Lakeside on Wednesday, Lee Smith with a hat-trick, the other goals from Luke Payne, Martin Smith and Reuben Barney as they recovered from Saturday's 1-0 loss at Longlevens Reserves.

Last Thursday, Brockworth - on 58 points from 28 games - lost 2-1 to Longlevens Reserves, James Barnett and Shiyak Sutherland scoring, Martin replying, and on Saturday, beat Charfield 3-0 thanks to Osamh Abazeid, Cairns and Jackson.

Longlevens beat Tredworth on Saturday with a Matt Emmett goal - but slipped to a 1-0 loss to Tewkesbury Town on Tuesday, and have 57 points in fourth place, but have played 26 games.

Dursley Town are fifth on 56 points from 27 games after beating Smiths Barometrics 3-1 on Thursday with Ben Dolbear (two) and Ashley Caldwell scoring, Thomas Hall replying, Bredon 4-1 on Saturday with goals from Joel Jagger (two), Hadyn Evans and Fintan Small - Sam Byde replying - and Town beat Stonehouse Town Reserves on Wednesday, 3-1 .

Also on Wednesday night, Bredon were 3-0 winners over Charfield, Scott Jordan (two) and Sam Jones scoring, and on Saturday, Jozef Fullerton, Alex Roder and Matt Tarling scored twice as Tewkesbury Town won 6-0 at Stonehouse Town Reserves, Elliot Roberts’ hat-trick helped FC Lakeside win 4-2 at Lydney Town Reserves, Kieran Alder with the other, Aston Jeffs and Luke Williams scoring for Lydney.

Jay Griffiths’ double saw Bibury to a 3-1 win at Woolaston, Elliott Greening replying, and Kalum Wildig scored as English Bicknor drew 1-1 with Berkeley Town, Camen Harvey replying.

Bottom side Berkeley are doomed to relegation, with Woolaston 12 points from safety with six games left, those last two bottom three spots looking to be between them, Stonehouse (22 points, two games left) and Lakeside (24 points, two games left).

Division Two leaders Whaddon United won 3-0 at Barnwood United on Saturday with goals from Zack Hodges (two) and Jordan Mitchell, then put six past Cheltenham Civil Service Reserves on Tuesday, Hodges (two), Mitchell, Jed Payton, Riley Butt and Kevin Slack scoring.

They can clinch the title on Saturday with a win over Leonard Stanley.

Alfie Bradshaw (two) and Travis Cooke helped second-placed Rodborough Old Boys beat Service 3-1 on Saturday, Riley Greenwood replying, and third-placed Staunton & Corse won 2-0 at Mushet & Coalway.

Barnwood United are fourth, seven points behind Staunton after beating Rodborough 1-0 on Wednesday, Keenan Rankin-Woodhouse their scorer.

Barnwood have three games to play to Staunton's one, so will need to win them all and for Staunton to slip up in their last game to catch them.

Fifth-placed Harrow Hill are nine points behind Staunton with three games left after they lost 5-1 at Viney St Swithins on Tuesday, Ryan Edwards with their goal, having beaten Falcons 3-1 on Saturday with goals for Mike Baldwin, Matt Boseley and Liam Pinnock, Ciprian Brinca replying.

But Lydbrook Athletic won 3-2 over Falcons to maintain their slim promotion hopes - they are 16 points behind Staunton in eighth, but still have seven games to play.

Dan Carman’s hat-trick gave King’s Stanley a 4-0 win at Chesterton, Adam Harley with the other, and on Wednesday, Gala Wilton Reserves drew 2-2 with Leonard Stanley, who, along with Chesterton, will finish in the bottom three and face relegation.

Henna Butcher’s double was not enough to prevent Cheltenham Town losing 3-2 to FA Women’s National League, Southern Premier champions Portsmouth.

Butcher struck after five and 42 minutes as Cheltenham led 1-0 and then 2-1 at half-time, but a hat-trick from Ella Humphrey gave Pompey the points. Tom Davies’ side finish their season against second-placed Hashtag United on May 5.

Gloucester City will finish third in the South West Women’s League, Northern Division after losing 2-0 at Bitton with a game left, against Downend Flyers on May 5.

Cheltenham Civil Service continued their bid to finish second in County Women’s League Division One as goals from Jessica Brown and Gemma Riley saw them to a 2-0 win over Whitchurch.

They were helped out by champions Cirencester Town, who beat third-placed Bristol & West 2-1 with goals from Jodie Bailey and Amelia Dudding.

Dursley Town and Bishop’s Cleeve drew 0-0 and are set for mid-table finishes.

Longlevens are five points clear at the top of Division Two after winning 9-1 at Cheltenham Town Development, Olivia Kosylowicz and Tianna Chant scoring twice, with one each for Sarah Burford, Hayley Pitt, Lucy Skelding, Mel Hoad and Isidora Valenzuela. Next-to-bottom Abbeymead Rovers lost 5-0 at Downend Flyers Reserves.

Lilli-Mae Owen scored a hat-trick as City of Gloucester beat Mitcheldean SC 5-1 and sit three points behind Division Three leaders Bitton Development, having played a game more, Holly Smith and Olivia Powell with the other goals.

Winchcombe Town are third after a 2-0 win at Andoversford, with goals from Jodie Luker and Izzy New, while four goals for Michaela Dowie gave Ellwood an 8-2 win over bottom side Ashton Keynes.

Tia Watts scored twice, Amy Tandy and Sarah Ann Smith netting the others, Ashton Keynes’ goals coming from Leanne Ross.
