Foreign Office issues travel warning for Egypt as 'insurance could be invalidated'
People heading to Egypt have been warned against all travel to certain parts of the country - or risk invalidating their insurance.
On their website, the Foreign Office has said that there are "areas where FCDO advises against travel".
Crucially for those planning to board a plane, this means your travel insurance could be invalidated if you travel against FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) advice. They stress: "Consular support is also severely limited where FCDO advises against travel."
