Hamilton Accies have signed former Motherwell and Barnsley striker Oli Shaw on a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on the biggest deal handed out to a player at the club so far this season and his arrival takes the new faces at New Douglas Park to five.

Shaw has also had spell in the Premiership with Ross County and Kilmarnock, where he helped the Ayrshire side to the Championship title, scoring 14 goals.

Accies boss John Rankin said: “It’s great to get Oli into the club, I’ve been after him for a while now so it feels great to get him signed on. He’s a clinical striker with plenty experience in Scotland so he adds terrific depth and firepower to the front line.”
