Former Doctor Who due at Gloucester Comic Con along with Star Wars and Harry Potter actors
Famous faces from Doctor Who, Star Wars and Harry Potter are due in Gloucester for Comic Con next weekend (Saturday, May 11). The sci-fi event will be at Gloucester's GL1 Leisure Centre.
Among those in attendance will be Colin Baker, who played the sixth Doctor in BBC sci-fi show Doctor Who in the 1980s. Former Time Lord companion Frazer Hines, who starred as Jamie McCrimmon alongside the second Doctor Patrick Troughton in the 1960s.
Also appearing will be Mike Quinn, known for his role as Nien Nunb in Star Wars - Return of Jedi and the recent Star Wars franchise films 'The Force Awakens' and 'The Last Jedi'. Nick Moran, famous for his roles in Harry Potter and Lock Stock will also be there.
These celebrities will be signing autographs, participating in professional photoshoots, and interacting with fans throughout the event. In addition to meeting the stars, Gloucester Comic Con will offer a range of free activities, including photo opportunities with various film and television set displays such as a 'Wednesday Addams' display, a life-size pod-racer, Monsters Inc Display, and an Endor Star Wars Scene display.

Attendees can also look forward to meet and greets with Super Mario and other cosplay guests. The event will feature a traders' area selling a wide array of merchandise and collectables, a free retro gaming and tabletop board gaming zone, and numerous charity cosplay groups like the Gloucestershire Trooper.
