An insider told The Sun : “Fans will be surprised to see a familiar face popping up on the cobbles. It remains to be seen if his character is as villainous as Emmerdale's Connor, who blackmailed Paul, but Danny will join the ITV soap for a guest role in the coming weeks.

It's not his first time in Weatherfield though - he played Jimmy Skyes, the brother of Linda Baldwin, in the early 00s.”
