Former Emmerdale star Isobel Steele has announced her next project following her exit as Liv Flaherty.
Isobel departed the soap in October as part of the show’s 50th anniversary, with her character being killed off after she was crushed by a caravan during a deadly storm.
In a post on Instagram, Isobel announced that her next venture would be in the music industry, as she prepares to release her debut single.

"My new single 'Out For Breakfast' is out April 14th!! I’ve been sat on this song for tooooo long. So excited for you to hear it ♥️ The pre-save link is in my bio! Much appreciated xxxxxx," she wrote, with the artwork showing her in the countryside.
Isobel had appeared on the soap for six years before her departure, and subsequently revealed that she was initially shocked at her exit storyline: "I first told the producers I wanted to leave in September 2021," she said.
"I joined when I was 15. I knew I didn’t want to stay forever and at some point you must make that call. Last September it felt the right time to move on and I wanted to give the producers a year to come up with a great exit for Liv. As an actress, you take a risk deciding to go.

"When they phoned me in April to tell me Liv was going to be killed in a storm, I had mixed feelings. I was excited because it meant I got to be in the 50th celebrations with a huge storyline, but equally I knew it meant I would never be coming back," she added.
In current developments on the soap, Naomi Walters is in the heat of the drama as her relationship with Alex Moore took a turn for the worse, whilst Billy Fletcher will make a confession regarding the recent hit-and-run.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
