Former Liverpool FC player Michael Owen sends heartfelt message after special family update

Michael Owen has been flooded with support as he celebrated a special marriage update.

The former Liverpool FC striker is in a happy relationship with his wife, Louise, and the two are the proud parents of four children. Their eldest child, Gemma Owen, is renowned for her role on the 2022 edition of Love Island when she finished in second place.

The England international regularly shares updates from his happy family life on Instagram. He has taken to the social media platform today to reveal it is a special day for the family as it his 19th wedding anniversary.

The 44-year-old shared a selection of snaps with his 490,000 followers alongside Louise with the caption: "Happy Anniversary @louise_owen80 19 years, still going strong……."

Louise took to the comments and responded: "Love you always and forever." Jamie Carragher's wife, Nicola, added: "Happy anniversary."

Other followers took to the comments to wish the couple well on their special day. Rob said: "Happy anniversary to you both."

Jess added: "Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Owen. Hope you have a wonderful day. Enjoy your day."
