Former WME Senior Partner Jon Rosen Launches Management Firm Envisionary
EXCLUSIVE: Jon Rosen, senior partner and board member at WME, has set his plans to launch the management production firm Envisionary after exiting the agency earlier this month.
Envisionary will use the skills Rosen honed over three decades with the agency, especially in the non-scripted and on-air areas specializing in news, sports and culinary talent. The new venture will offer a comprehensive suite of services including management representation, production verticals, advisory and consulting, as well as an investment arm.

Joining Rosen to start Envisionary is an elite roster of clients including including Alex Rodriguez, Stephen A. Smith, Al Roker, Bobby Flay, Brent Montgomery & Wheelhouse, Buddy Valastro, Giada De Laurentiis, Hallie Jackson, Julia Fox, Lara Spencer, Natalie Morales, Robin Roberts, Stephanie Ruhle, Van Jones, Willie Geist, E Street Band consigliere and actor Steven Van Zandt and more.
Rosen over the past 30 years held key leadership roles at the William Morris Endeavor and William Morris Agency, respectively. Rosen served as Senior Partner, Co-Head of Television and on the Board of Directors for both WMA and WME.
One of Rosen’s strengths is an ability to spot the next big thing. He helped popularize the areas of lifestyle entertainment by discovering and creating opportunities that made household names of chefs like Flay, De Laurentiis and Rachael Ray. His keen eye for talent has established food as a prominent pillar of pop culture, and The New York Times once wrote “If agents were chefs, he’d be Thomas Keller.”
He has negotiated multimillion-dollar deals for clients including Rodriguez, Roberts, Smith and many others. In 2007, Rosen launched the branded lifestyle group, propelling WME ahead of its competition by identifying and developing comprehensive, multiplatform enterprises for personalities and brands in various lifestyle and entertainment sectors. Rosen took a holistic representation approach, with strategies spanning television, merchandising, licensing, publishing and digital distribution within the company. He holds strong memories of the agency he spent three decades helping to build.
“I am incredibly grateful for my journey at William Morris Agency and WME,” he said. “The friendships and partnerships I formed are dear to me, and I am excited to continue those relationships in the future. I would like to thank the leadership at WME for giving me the opportunity to build an exciting career and for imparting invaluable lessons along the way.”
