Former WWE Superstar Naomi makes debut for Impact WWE

Ex-WWE Superstar Trinity (better known to fans as Naomi) has made her debut for Impact Wrestling.

Trinity made her debut for the company at their television taping on Friday (April 28) in Chicago, where she cut a promo in front of fans. Her debut match will take place on the May 4 edition of Impact where she will face Kilynn King.

This will be the first time Trinity has wrestled since May 2022, when she and Mercedes Moné (then Sasha Banks) walked out of a live Raw taping while they were the WWE women's tag team champions.

When Trinity made her debut for Impact, Moné was in the audience to show her support, just as Trinity had done for her when she made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

On Twitter, Moné shared a photo of Trinity from the taping and wrote: "@TheTrinity_Fatu is here to make an IMPACT!!! She bout to knock out all competition & leave em in the rear view. Get it sis."

Speaking to NBC 5 Chicago about her exit from WWE ahead of her Impact debut, Trinity said: "I feel like it was a blessing in disguise. I feel that it's allowed me to grow and become better in every way, in every aspect.

"Show me how strong I really am. And now I've got this new journey ahead of me, these new goals, and I'm excited and ready to step into this new chapter."

Last week Trinity hit back at claims that her asking price was too high for Japanese wrestling promotion Stardom.
