When is Fortnite Winterfest 2023? All quests and rewards revealed
Fortnite Winterfest is officially underway, with a bunch of rewards and quests that are only available for a limited time.
Like a digital advent calendar, the annual tradition offers players daily treats over several weeks. Once again, players can expect to receive outfits, gliders, wraps, pickaxes, and emotes, many of which are free of charge.
Seeing as it’s almost impossible to get anything noteworthy in Fortnite without forking out real cash, Winterfest is the ideal time to grab goodies without spending a penny.
"Winterfest is back for 2023," the official Fortnite account announced on X on Thursday, December 14. "Hide from Krampus, launch your snowballs, and claim gifts just for showing up!"
Here’s what you need to know about the event, including which freebies are available and the special quests that can help you level up fast.

During this time, a free gift is added to the Quests section every day. If it’s anything like last year, you should be able to open all the gifts at any time before the event concludes.
Seeing as Fortnite just got a bunch of new game modes, including Lego Fortnite, there are plenty of reasons to jump back in.

What else is new in Fortnite Winterfest 2023?
This year's Winterfest is slightly different than past events. Firstly, the game's cozy cabin has been ditched in favour of daily log-in gifts. As mentioned above, these are available from the Quests section.
Meanwhile, Fortnite leakers Wenso and Notkrae previously claimed the game would be getting supply drones and a special point of interest during Winterfest.
Fortnite originally held a similar event dubbed 14 Days of Fortnite in 2018, followed by the Winterfest of 2019. There was no event in 2020 but the Winterfest returned in 2021.
As part of Winterfest, the game is fittingly blanketed in snow and Christmas trinkets. Frequent players may have spotted that the map has a larger frosty area following the arrival of the Chapter 5 update in early December.
