Electronic duo Underworld have been added to the line-up for this year's Forwards Festival, which takes place on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1. It will be their only Bristol performance of the year.

Joining the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Jessie Ware, Underworld will take to the stage on the second day of the festival, which also includes Yard Act, Baxter Dury, CMAT, Crazy P, Holysseus Fly, and Da Fuchaman and the Fire Blaze Band. The Saturday is headlined by Loyle Carner.

Festival organisers have also confirmed they will soon be announcing a replacement for Maribou State following the cancellation of the duo's 2024 shows. The final acts for this year's festival will also be announced in the coming days. Tickets for the Forwards, which takes place on The Downs, are now on sale on the website.
