FOUND: The person involved in this appeal has now been safely found. The police would like to thank all those who shared the appeal.

A teenager has gone missing from Kendal, with police now concerned about her welfare.

The 16-year-old was last seen in the town centre on Friday afternoon (June 28) in the vicinity of Home Bargains.

They are described as white, with long blonde hair extension, and are 4ft 9ins tall and of slim build.

They were last seen wearing a grey crop top, grey leggings and black Nike trainers, and also had with them a small, over-the-shoulder grey handbag.

Officers stated that they were concerned for their welfare and are encouraging anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts or information which may assist the search to get in touch.
