Family Killed In Plane Crash Are Named

A family of four who died in a plane crash have been named.

Pilot Philip Garvey, 56, died alongside his wife Ann, 55, their daughter Emily, 23, and son Daniel 20, when the six-seater aircraft came down near the village of Churchinford, south of Taunton, Somerset.

They were from the Woking area of Surrey.

The aircraft was flying from Surrey to Dunkeswell Aerodrome in east Devon when it crashed at around 11.45am on Saturday.

Supt Richard Corrigan said: "A joint investigation is under way with the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB)."
