Four men in custody after £250,000 worth of items stolen from business premises in Barrow

Four men are in custody after three forklift trucks and 60 tonnes of aluminium bales were stolen in Barrow-upon-Humber.

Police were called to a business premises on Marsh Lane in Barrow with reports of theft which is thought to have taken place between Friday, July 5 and Monday, July 8.

It is reported that four people forced entry into the back of the facility before stealing three forklift trucks and 60 tonnes of aluminium bales, worth an estimated total of £250,000.

Four men, aged 21, 29, 33 and 52, were subsequently identified and arrested on suspicion of burglary. They all remain in police custody.
