Four Reported Injured After Ceiling Prop Falls Into Pool at New Jersey Water Park

At least four people were injured at DreamWorks Water Park in East Rutherford, New Jersey, after a ceiling-suspended prop helicopter fell into the pool below on Sunday, February 19, local media reported.

Citing police, local media reported first responders treated all four people injured, with one person requiring further treatment at hospital. The park was evacuated after the incident.

Footage by Twitter user @jonnyvsbdikd shows park staff rushing near the fallen prop helicopter.

In a statement, American Dream, the owner of the complex in which the park is situated, said DreamWorks Water Park would be closed over Sunday and Monday. No further details were provided.
