The Fragrance Shop: UK perfume retailer to open first store in Northern Ireland

One of the UK's biggest perfume retailers is set to open its first store in Northern Ireland.

The Fragrance Shop has announced it will open its new 750sq ft store on Castle Lane in Belfast this week, the first of a planned ten stores across Ireland in the coming years.

The shop will open on Friday 26 April, with a number of interactive stations available for customers.

The retailer will stock more than 40 well-known fragrance brands, including Dior, Gucci and Hermes.

Seven new jobs are expected to be created with the opening of the store, while the chain says more jobs could be created in the future.

Kam Birk, Property Director at The Fragrance Shop, expressed excitement about the Belfast store opening and the broader expansion plans into Ireland.

"We are thrilled to establish our presence in Belfast and bring our unique offerings closer to the community," Birk said.

"This expansion represents our dedication to providing exceptional products/services while creating job opportunities and contributing to the local economy."

Customers are invited to the new store opening celebrations on the 4 May between 9am and 6pm, where there will be 200 goody bags available, along with the opportunity to win full-sized fragrances, exclusive samples and other assorted gifts.
