Members of the armed forces are being offered free entry at a country estate near Henley this weekend.

Stonor Park and Tumblestone Hollow are extending their gratitude to military personnel by granting them free access on June 29 and 30.

All members of the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Marines and Ministry of Defence, upon showing their relevant ID, will not have to pay the entry fee.

Lord Camoys, custodian of Stonor Park, said: "Looking back at the Stonor family tree, many generations were involved with the armed forces, so it’s very special to host our first armed forces weekend, giving individuals free entry to Tumblestone Hollow and Stonor’s picturesque park and gardens.

"It is important that we show our gratitude where possible and we hope this offers armed forces personnel the opportunity to spend special, quality time with their family and friends."

Tumblestone Hollow’s outdoor play area features slides, zipwires, high level walkways, look-outs, climbing nets and a water-play area.
