Friends Experience to open in London where you can wander around sets and visit Central Perk

Friends fans will more than remember The One with Ross's Wedding when the six pals visited London and were joined by some famous faces, including Fergie. But you will now be able to feel like a star of the US sitcom as the Friends Experience comes to the capital - "could we be any more excited!"

Friends launched in 1994 and follows the lives and loves of a close-knit group of pals living in New York City. They included siblings Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), along with friends Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).

To celebrate 30 years of the adored TV show, The Friends Experience: The One in London will launch its UK flagship in August at London's ExCel. Fans will be able to relive their favourite scenes and moments from the long-running sitcom on recreations of its best-known sets.

There will be opportunities to relax in Chandler and Joey's recliners and peer around the famous purple flat door of Monica and Rachel's apartment and sit on the sofa in front of the fountain from the opening credits.

Visitors will hear from its creators and storytelling from the costume designer, providing an insight into the beloved characters and show. Themed food and beverages will be available from a new Friend Station that's inspired by the show's New York City setting and subway stations.

The flagship will also premiere exclusive content from iconic London episodes including "The One with Ross' Wedding Parts 1 & 2," from the fourth season. Fans can step inside a recreated wedding scene at the semi-demolished St. John's Church, interact with a 3D interpretation of Joey's London map, view replica props and costumes, and more.
