Frigid Air in Minnesota Causes Ice Crystals to Form on Frozen Bubble

Soap-water bubbles froze moments after they formed during chilly winter temperatures in Graceville, Minnesota, on February 13. The video shows ice crystals forming on the bubble’s surface, transforming it into ice orbs.

Temperatures in northern to central Minnesota dropped below zero on February 13, with some areas receiving wind chills of -25 to -35 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the National Weather Service.

Some 37 schools across the state were closed Wednesday, February 13, due to the Frigid conditions, according to FOX 9 News.
