Everybody has something that makes them shudder with fear and in the cases of these celebrities creatures from the animal kingdom make the blood run cold! From David Beckham to Eminem, these are the stars spooked by animals!

In an ironic twist, the Disney pioneer created the beloved character Mickey Mouse even though he was scared of the rodents. It is said that the terror inspired him to create Mickey to show that mice can be sympathetic creatures.

The Hollywood actress revealed her dislike of cockroaches as she promoted the 2011 movie 'We Bought a Zoo'. She told Vulture: "I cannot stand cockroaches. That's one thing I absolutely couldn't do."

The 'Fight Club' star didn't want his children to surf in Australia due to his terrible fear of sharks. Brad's ex-wife Angelina Jolie said at the time: "My kids learned to surf, even though Daddy didn't want to know when they were in the water because he has a shark phobia."

The football icon travelled into the Brazilian rainforest for the TV show 'Into the Unknown' in 2014 but amphibians left him feeling anxious. Discussing his froggy phobia, Becks said: "Frogs were the thing I was kind of not sure I wanted to come across. And one of the first animals that we saw was a bright orange frog which unnerved me even more."

The singer had a feline phobia and needed to visit a therapist to overcome the fear ahead of her appearance on the reality TV show 'Armed and Famous' in 2007. She said at the time: "I knew I had to get over this fear of cats because everybody has them. They're domestic animals. "(But) you walk down a street and I see a cat, I'm terrified... When I was a child I saw a cat attack one of my relatives."

The model looks fearless on the catwalk but has a shocking phobia of dolphins that started in childhood. Discussing her nightmares about the aquatic animals, she said: "I've been afraid of [dolphins] since I was 8 or 9. I have dreams that I am in a pool and there are dolphins bumping me and I’m frightened."

The former One Direction singer is petrified of pigeons and doesn't like that they get up close and personal. He told James Corden on 'The Late Late Show': "I do enjoy a good walk in the park, but the minute pigeons come into it... "I think they're horrible... I don't like the fact that they're not scared of us until you get really close to them."

The actress is horrified of horses - which proved to be a big problem when she played the title role in the film 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. She said: "I fell off a horse once and hurt myself really badly. "I broke and dislocated my elbow when I was, like, nine. "I was shaking like a leaf when saddling up. Riding horses terrifies me. "I was really, really not happy about having to do all that [horseback riding]. I don't like that – I hate that."

The former 'Dawson's Creek' star has a lifelong fear of raccoons and resorted to barking like a dog when she was approached by one of the creatures. She told talk show host Jay Leno: "You know, most things are like dogs, you know, they're more afraid of you than you are of them and I don't find that [with them]. "I was recently sitting outside and this raccoon comes right up, like right there, and I'm expecting it to be more afraid of me and I'm staring at it and it's staring right back like he's gonna kick my butt, and I didn't know what to do so I just stood up and barked at it and he just ran away."

The rapper confessed to being unsettled by the long-necked animals. He said: "I have a weird thing with giraffes, man… I don't like their necks."
