Full list of 56 people in South Yorkshire that could be inherit an unclaimed fortune

Across South Yorkshire and elsewhere the UK, there are thousands of unclaimed fortunes left behind by those who have died without leaving a will.

This means the inheritance is still waiting to be collected by the relatives of those who have died. Thankfully, HM Treasury keeps track of all of these unclaimed estates.

These estates include things like money, businesses, cars and even property.

The following people can make a claim on an estate:

• Husband, wife or civil partner

• Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on

• Mother or father

• Brothers or sisters who share both the same mother and father, or their children (nieces and nephews)

• Half brothers or sisters or their children

• Uncles and aunts or their children (first cousins or their descendants)

However, they must be claimed within 30 years of the death of the person and you must be able to prove your relation through a family tree.
