Full list of all bank holidays as new public holiday declared

A new public holiday has been declared on the island of Jersey next month to celebrate the visit of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. This will be the first visit by a reigning monarch since the late Queen's visit in 2005, reports Birmingham Live.

The holiday is expected to cost Jersey taxpayers around £700,000 in wages for civil servants taking the day off, according to the BBC. As Jersey is a self-governing island, separate from the UK in many respects, residents on the British mainland will not receive the same holiday on July 15.

However, there are still several bank holidays to look forward to in the UK in 2024.
