With the county only days away from welcoming legendary boy band Take That, it's important to know how the two gigs will affect traffic. A number of road closures and parking restrictions will surround the City Ground between 9am on Friday, May 24, and 11pm on Tuesday, May 28.
The gigs, which will take place on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, are the first to take place at the home of Nottingham Forest since REM took over the stadium. Almost 20 years later, the stadium gates are due to open for music fans at around 5pm on both days, with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald taking over the stage just before 8.30pm.
The show is expected to finish at around 10.30pm. Fox Road will be closed from its junction with A6250 Radcliffe Road to its junction with Hound Road one way, between 9am on Friday, May 24, and 11.59pm on Sunday, May 26.
Parking restrictions also apply within the same timeframe. Hound Road will be closed one way between its junction with Fox Road and its junction with Bridgford Road at the same time as Fox Road, with parking restrictions also in place.
Colwick Road will be closed entirely, with the closure anticipated to be in place from 4.59pm until 11pm on Saturday, May 25, and again between the same times on Sunday, May 26. Parking restrictions will also be in place.
Pavilion Road will also be fully closed between 4pm and 11.59pm on May 25 and again from 4pm until 11.59pm on May 26. Parking restrictions will be in place between 9am on May 24 and 11.59pm on Tuesday, May 28.
Trentside North is also closed entirely from 4pm until 11.59pm on May 25 and May 26. Parking restrictions will be in place from 9am on May 24 until 11.59pm on May 26.
Bridgford Road will be affected by parking restrictions between 9am on May 24 and 11.59pm on May 26. A6011 Lady Bay Bridge, West Bridgford, will be closed from its junction with Radcliffe Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 520 metres between 10.30pm and 11pm on May 25 and 26.
The same road, but in the City of Nottingham, will be closed from a point 520 metres north-west of its junction with Radcliffe Road to its junction with Meadow Lane between 10.30pm and 11pm on May 25 and 26.
