Gary Lineker congratulates ex-wife Danielle Bux on pregnancy

One month after reports first broke, Danille Bux took to Instagram yesterday to confirm that she is pregnant.

The model is expecting her first child with boyfriend Nate Greenwald and clearly felt that Mother’s Day was the perfect opportunity to share her happy news.

Posting a photo of her growing bump, Danielle simply captioned the snap with: “Happy Mother’s Day”.

The star was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from her fans, and her ex-husband, Gary Lineker was also keen to prove that there is absolutely no bad blood between them.

Retweeting the photograph, Gary simply wrote: “Congratulations to you both x”.

Gary and Danielle tied the knot in 2009 but split in 2015 before officially divorcing in January 2016, however, their break up was incredibly amicable and a source had previously revealed that the former footballer was excited for his ex.

Speaking to The Sun last month, the insider dished: “She is thrilled and so excited she’s pregnant.

“She’s been keeping it a secret until she was over 12 weeks but now she’s telling family and friends.

“It’s nice because Gary never wanted to have kids with her. That was one of the reasons they broke up. So she thought she might have missed her chance to have any more kids.

“Gary couldn’t be happier for her. He thinks Nate is a nice bloke and has been for dinner with them a few times. They all get on.”

Danielle first started dating Nate in April last year after she moved into the house next door to his in Los Angeles.

Although he had no children with Danielle, Gary has four sons with his first wife, Michelle Cockayne; George, Harry, Tobias and Angus.

Danielle has a 14-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
