Gary Lineker issued a seven-word verdict after Coventry City's dramatic comeback against Manchester United.

The Sky Blues managed to secure a 3-3 draw against Man United in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon. The stalemate meant that the tie would go to extra time at Wembley Stadium.

Man United had taken a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes. City responded with goals from Ellis Simms, Callum O'Hare and a stoppage-time penalty from Haji Wright to force extra time.

City thought they had scored the winning goal in the final moments of extra time, with a strike from Victor Torp only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.

After the match went to extra time, Lineker took to social media to offer his praise to City. The former Leicester striker praised Coventry for recovering from a three-goal deficit to force extra time.

Lineker wrote: "Wow! Incredible comeback by @Coventry_City Stunning!"

The match went to a penalty shootout despite City initially believing they had won the game in extra time with Torp's disallowed goal. Coventry would lose the shootout 4-2 to exit the FA Cup, with Wright and Torp finding the back of the net but O'Hare and Ben Sheaf both missed their spot-kicks.
