A Teesside music festival has announced more additions to its 2024 summer line-up.

Set to take place across multiple venues in Stockton on Saturday, September 28, this year's Gathering Sounds Festival promises to be bigger, bolder, and better than ever.

With the addition of two new stages, the Famous Last Words stage and the This Feeling stage, organisers say music fans are going to be treated to even more up-and-coming bands and artists from across the UK.

The Famous Last Words stage, hosted at the Georgian Theatre, will be headlined by alt-rock trio SNAYX. Formed in January 2019, SNAYX have quickly made a name for themselves in the music scene, sharing stages with international acts like D-Boy, Kid Kapichi, and Nova Twins.

Their sound is characterised by hard-hitting bass riffs and aggressive, in-your-face vocals, delivering short, exhilarating tracks. Set to play alongside them are About Bunny, Komparrison, Erotic Secrets of Pompeii, Wingz of the Monkey and Ocean Floor Still.

Meanwhile, This Feeling stage will play host to The Crooks - a dynamic five-piece Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll band from Chesterfield, England. Comprised of Jacko, Chris Stones, Duncan Couch, Conor Fletcher, and Jonathan Keeler, they deliver a powerful, anthemic sound that resonates deeply. Influenced by Oasis, DMA’s, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and The Verve, they bring a fresh twist to classic Britpop-inspired melodies.

Their recent singles, including "Silhouette Sunshine" and "She Walks Alone," have garnered significant attention, achieving over 26,000 streams on Spotify within a week. Supporting them will be The Sheratons, The Cavs, CRUZ, Dylan Robert, P∆VÉ, Strange Dimensions and Hannah Robinson.

Festival organiser Jimmy Beck said: "This year's Gathering Sounds Festival is a testament to the incredible homegrown music talent we have. Adding these new stages allows us to showcase even more emerging artists and give them a platform to shine. It's all about celebrating the vibrant music scene right here in Stockton and beyond."

Previously announced artists set to play the festival include The Royston Club, Fat Dog, Wings of Desire, The Kites, Borough Council, The Cheapthrills, Youth Sector, Pit Pony, Lissy Taylor, Bowen The Outlaws, Sarah Johnson, TV Death, Blackout The Arcade.
