Yahoo News Gavin and Stacey's Joanna Page shares one thing she's "not doing" in new special
Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page has revealed the one thing she won't be doing in the show's upcoming Christmas special.
The show is due to finally return for a one-off episode later this year, with fans no doubt eager to see what happened after that cliffhanger in the 2019 special.
Stacey actor Page has now spoken about the special, admitting that she hasn’t seen the script yet but is hopeful of one thing.

"I just hope that I haven’t signed on to be running around on Barry beach in a bikini because I’m not doing that at the age of 47," she quipped to BBC Breakfast.
Page also spoke about her excitement to see what happens in the special, declaring: "I am the same as everyone else back home. I can’t wait to find out what has happened.
"I remember all those years ago reading the script for the last special, and I was doing it on my phone. I got to the end, and it said, 'Nessa goes down one knee,' and I remember scrolling through going, 'That can’t be the end. What does he say?'
"I am the same as everybody – what happens?"

The 2024 special was confirmed back in May, with James Corden recently revealing that filming will finally get underway in the early autumn.
"We'll be shooting it around September/October time," he told Zoe Ball's BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show. "It's going to be tight to get it in and delivered."
Corden added that "building that show is like building a Jenga puzzle", notably with "cast availabilities and things like that".
"Ruth [Jones] and I, we have to do one last pass and clean up of it [the script] really, because the cast are like, 'When can I read it?' And we're like, 'Ahhh'.
"We don't really want to give it to anybody unless we feel like it's... So we have to make a few more trims and a few little adjustments. But I'm very excited to share it with people."
Gavin & Stacey series 1-3 are available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The Gavin & Stacey 2024 Christmas special will air on Christmas Day on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
