Gaza Protesters and Pro-Israel Group Clash Outside Paris University

Police arrived to separate groups of pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian demonstrators as they engaged in a tense standoff outside the gates of the Sciences Po university in Paris on Friday, April 26.

According to reports, the pro-Israel group marched toward the building to challenge pro-Palestinian activists who had occupied a building and called on the university to condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza. Credit: Storyful

A bus crashed off a bridge and into the Moyka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Friday, May 10, with local police saying around 20 people were on board.Local media reported that at least five people died, with four “seriously injured”.
