GCHS presents 'The Little Mermaid'

May 9—GREENSBURG — The Greensburg Community High School Choral Department production of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" plays on the GCHS auditorium stage at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11.

Tickets are available at the door and are $12 for adults, $8 for students K through 12, and children 5 and under are admitted for free.

Based on the Hans Christian Anderson story and the Disney movie, "The Little Mermaid" is the story of Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, who wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above.

Ariel bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.
