Nupur Majumdar - Conservative

Summary:

Lewisham Deptford had been a Labour seat since its creation in 1977. This year the name changes, but the boundaries vary only slightly and it remains a Labour stronghold.

Vicky Foxcroft was first elected MP for the area in 2015. At the last general election she won 60 per cent of the vote and a majority of 32,913 - one the largest in the country.

Meanwhile the Conservatives came in second with 11.4 per cent of the vote, just one point ahead of the Lib Dems in third.

This year it is the only seat in London where a Communist Party candidate is standing, Oliver Snelling is their candidate.
