The polls have now closed and voters across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire have had their say in the 2024 General Election. Now the wait begins for the results from each of the seats across our area.

According to the exit poll, Sir Keir Starmer is on course for Downing Street with his Labour Party expected to sweep to power. The Labour leader will become prime minister on Friday with a commanding majority in Parliament, the exit poll for broadcasters suggested.

Rishi Sunak’s term as Prime Minister looks set to end in electoral disaster, with the Conservatives forecast to endure heavy losses. The exit poll suggests Labour is on course for 410 seats, with the Tories reduced to 131.

Locally, we are expected to discover the results from constituencies across the county at various times between 2am and 5am. You won't miss a thing with our interactive tool below, which provides the expected result time and full result after declaration:
