General Election 2024: Six candidates wanting your vote in Stoke-on-Trent North
Tory Jonathan Gullis is hoping to retain Stoke-on-Trent North for the Conservatives - at next month's General Election. The former teacher has a 6,286 majority after unseating Labour incumbent Ruth Smeeth back in 2019.
The 2019 election was contested by The Brexit Party. But the party has now been replaced by Reform UK - led by Nigel Farage - and is standing in Stoke-on-Trent North in 2024.
Nominations for the Stoke-on-Trent North constituency ended at 4pm yesterday. Six candidates have put their names forward for election.
The 2024 General Election takes place on Thursday, July 4. The Conservatives currently have 345 MPs - with Labour on 206.
