Less than five years years on from him joining the cast of Geordie Shore, Anth Kennedy now looks set to embark on completely different career path, having successfully completed rigorous training for the British Army.

Gateshead lad Anth was one of three newcomers to join the MTV show in 2019, together with Louis Shaw and former X Factor finalist Amelia Lily, as filming commenced on its 21 series. and then made a return to the fold in 2022, as he starred in the Geordie Shore reunion shows.

Anth's was back in front of cameras just weeks after he was left with potentially life changing injuries after being attacked on a night out in Ibiza, with him taking to Instagram to post a photo of himself in a Spanish hospital with a heavily swollen face and jaw. He told concerned fans: "Came to Ibiza to get away, relax and have fun but instead I’ve had my jaw broken in 3 places both upper and lower, wires put in to keep my mouth shut, I have a numb face due to nerve damage from the punches!"

After initially being deferred and having to wait to be medically fit, I persisted and created Memories I will cherish for the rest of my career and life. thanks to everyone that came."
