George Floyd Memorial Honoring Anniversary of Death Held in Brooklyn

George Floyd’s brother, Terrence Floyd, spoke at a memorial honoring George in Brooklyn, New York, on May 23, marking nearly one year since his death.

Video taken by Alanzo Phillips shows Terrence addressing the crowd outside Brooklyn Borough Hall, calling for police reform and urging communities to “stay woke.”

George Floyd was killed by former police officer Derek Chauvin on May 25, 2020, when Chauvin kneeled on his neck during an arrest.
