Such was Georgia resident Mohsin Mohi’s determination to vote that he stood in line two days in a row before he was able to exercise his right.
Mohi shared footage from a long line in Suwanee, Georgia, where he and his one-year-old son waited again, on the second day of early voting in the predawn hours of Tuesday, October 13.
“We out here in line early 645 am,” Mohi wrote on Twitter. “Long lines prevented us from voting day1. Me and 1 yr old baby Peace ain’t giving up.”
WXIA reported that Georgia experienced widespread technical problems that delayed early voting on October 12.
Though lines and hours-long wait times to vote have been criticized by voters as products of voter suppression, Buzzfeed News reported that experts say it’s a sign of voter enthusiasm. Credit: Mohsin Mohi via Storyful
