Getting Ready With DJ Charlotte de Witte at Coachella: The Techno Queen’s High-octane Arrival in a Ferrari Minidress and ‘Natural’ Onstage Look
Sensual and sporty, DJ Charlotte de Witte embraced what she likes most about “androgynous” dressing for her turn at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 13.
“I’ve always been one of the guys and this translates into my style and sense of aesthetic,” de Witte told WWD ahead of the show. “That being said, I like to feel powerful and feminine without revealing too much.”

The Belgian techno star made a high-octane arrival in a head-to-toe look from Ferrari’s spring 2024 collection. She made it a monochromatic moment in an off-white palette, wearing an oversize minidress with padded sleeves and motorsports-inspired gloves, and ankle-strap pumps.
The musician said she has had a close relationship with Ferrari since they partnered in 2021 for a collaborative livestream with F1 in Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. As a fan of motorsports, she said wearing the brand felt like “a match made in heaven.”
“The Italian connection, the actual cars, their F1 racing team, the fashion brand and the general aesthetic — it’s one of the brands that all-around feel very close to me,” she added.
For the DJ set, de Witte coordinated a black open-back bodysuit from her closet with a blue and green colorblock Fila tracksuit and Tom Ford glasses.
“I want to feel confident and at-ease on stage, so I keep my look consistent with my music, and I prefer a natural look with a sleek touch,” she said. “It’s about striking a balance between looking good and feeling comfortable. It felt great to be able to show both sides at Coachella.”
