Yahoo News Ghosts star Jim Howick's show Here We Go gets rave reviews in return

The second season of BBC comedy Here We Go premiered tonight (February 2), receiving rave reviews from viewers.
The show stars Ghosts' Jim Howick and follows the trials and tribulations of the Jessop family, told from the point of view of teenage son Sam and his handheld camera.
Season two's debut episode saw mum Rachel (Doc Martin's Katherine Parkinson) feel insecure about her age as she began her university course, while grandma Sue (Gavin and Stacey's Alison Steadman) reignited Paul's (Howick) love of boating during a clear-out.

Here We Go's viewers were quick to share their positive reactions to the show's return on X — formerly Twitter. "Great start to the 2nd series of Here We Go, so so funny," one person wrote.
"Here We Go is just brilliant British comedy at its best. Superb writing and cast. So glad it's back," another added, while a third said: "Here We Go S2 on @BBCiPlayer and it's an absolute JOY. Fully lost it at the Play Your Cards Right sequence. Put it in your face and be happy."
Fans also praised Howick and Steadman for their hilarious performances, with one writing: "Enjoying the new series of Here We Go! TV people please cast Jim Howick in everything ever!"

"Such anarchic fun! How can we not love Alison Steadman in this show — great, talented cast and a little truth embedded in all!" commented another impressed viewer.
The new series introduces Fresh Meat's Sophie Wu, And Just Like That...'s Dolly Wells and The Salisbury Poisonings' Andrew Brooke. Howick's Ghosts co-star Simon Farnaby and The Windsors' Harry Enfield are also set to guest star.
Speaking previously about the show's second series, the BBC's head of comedy, Josh Cole, said: "The second series of Here We Go is full of laugh-out-loud moments, whip-smart writing and a brilliant ensemble — this time accompanied by shockingly funny guest stars."
Here We Go airs on Fridays at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
